Welcome to Bluebird Early Education Murrumbeena.
Thank you for taking an interest in our beautiful Centre, let us share with you a little more about ourselves and why Bluebird Murrumbeena is steps ahead of the rest.
We are located within walking distance of the Murrumbeena Station, which is perfect for any commuting families using this as their main form of transport. We also provide a pram room to accommodate those who walk from home in the morning, no need to carry a clunky pram to work with you!
We are very lucky that the train drives right above our Centre. The children love to count the carriages and watch them coming and going during the day and we often hear the children sharing these stories with their families when heading home.
From the outside we may seem like a small boutique centre – but inside we share an ‘Alice in Wonderland’ feel, with large corridors and many Studio’s, accommodating a maximum of 122 Children per day.
We feel so fortunate to be a part of such a culturally diverse community, this is certainly reflected throughout our Centre. We are sensitive to the diverse beliefs and values of our multicultural community and we encourage you to share these with us.
Our incredible Team of Educators pride themselves on creating warm and respectful relationships with our Children, Families and our Community. We strive to create a centre where everybody feel’s as through they belong and that the special characteristics that make us all different, are celebrated.
We have an open-door policy where you are welcome to come in throughout the day and visit our service and enjoy a cup of coffee on us.
If you would like to be a part of our high-quality Centre, where everyone is truly celebrated and supported, then Bluebird Murrumbeena is the Centre for you.

Meet the Centre Manager
Hello Everyone, my name is Meghan and I have worked in Early Education for around 14yrs.
Throughout this time I have experienced different organizations and positions within the industry which has provided me the confidence to really know and understand what it takes to build a centre where both the Children and Families feel as though they belong.
I have also worked in the Domestic and Family Violence Sector in Darwin for 3yrs which was an amazing experience and a very fulfilling, rewarding position. Having 2 children of my own (a 4mth old and a 4yr old) I understand how important it is to provide an environment that is safe, secure and nurturing – this, partnered with a high quality Early Learning Program – ensures children have the best possible start in life.
I believe in forming trusting partnerships with our Families results in a positive Early Learning Experience for their Child, working hand on hand to bridge the gap between the home and our Centre. I strongly encourage Families to have input into our Educational Programs, Our Centre Quality Improvement Plan and of course, share their Family culture and heritage with us.
I really look forward to working alongside all the Educators, Children and Families at Bluebird Murrumbeena, providing a centre were all children can thrive and develop into confident little learners.
