About the Centre
Care and Education for Children aged 6 weeks until 5 years
Welcome to Bluebird Soldiers Hill, where we believe in creating a fun, positive and nurturing atmosphere for your child to grow into a confident little learner.
From the moment you walk into our centre you are greeted by our dedicated admin member who loves to make you a hot drink in the morning and have a chat. Tea, coffee and biscuits and slices are always available in our parent foyer for anyone wanting to grab a snack on the go or take a moment for themselves to relax before heading to or from their busy days
One of the many highlights we enjoy regularly, are our community walks and Forest school program. Our children are provided the opportunity to explore the wonders of the Gong-Gong, a bushland Reservoir in Brown Hill run by Central Highlands water. During our excursions to Forest School the Children are able to explore nature and wildlife, initiating their own experiences with natural materials being their only tools.
Our long-standing in house chef provides nutritious and delicious meals daily. You can often find her having a chat in the hallway with our Families, while preparing a yummy hot lunch for the Children that day. She also engages in regular cooking classes in our Studio’s alongside the Educators.
Our experienced and dedicated Curriculum Management Team, guide and embed our Oxanda rituals and projects throughout the Centre, guiding and mentoring new Educators to join our Team.

In supporting of the diverse culture of families within our Soldiers Hill community, we engage in regular cultural celebrations that are included in our Educational programs. Acceptance and cultural awareness are embedded, as the children begin to explore diversity and inclusion, we invite you to share your family history with us.
We pride ourselves on our open-door policy and the partnerships we create with our families.
We will always be available for advice and support, working side by side with you, to inspire your child’s learning journey.

Meet the Centre Manager
Hello, my name is Donna and I have been working in the Early Education Industry for over 25 years. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Community Management and I am currently studying my Bachelor of Business.
I am excited and proud that our Centre provides the Highest Quality Care and Education for Children, Families and of course our Community here in Soldiers Hill.
Encompassed by amazing outdoor play spaces, 7 beautiful Studios and a Team of professional Educators, we offer a ‘home away from home’ that will encourage learning and growth, where you will always feel welcome.
Being a mum of 4 beautiful Children of my own, I can understand, empathize, and support both Children and Families through the transition into Early Childhood Education.
I believe that Children should be celebrated for their uniqueness – we place great importance that “In our Centre, we all Belong”.
I am looking forward to developing a strong and long-lasting relationship with your Family and can not wait to provide you with a personalised tour of our wonderful Centre.
