Our on-site kitchen is more than just a place to prepare meals; it is also a space where children can actively participate in the cooking process. Meet the Centre Manager
Hello, my name is Robyn, and I am the Centre Manager here at Bluebird Early Education Cardiff. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt the warmth and sense of community within the Service, and I knew straight away it was somewhere special.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Care and have worked in the Early Learning sector for over 18 years. My journey began with running my own Family Day Care business before moving into a Lead Educator role in Long Day Care. From there, I stepped into leadership over 10 years ago as an Educational Leader and have since progressed into Centre Manager roles.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to support teams as an Early Childhood Teacher, open brand new Services, and assist other Services with compliance reviews and quality improvement. These experiences have strengthened my passion for creating environments where children, families, and Educators can all thrive.
Outside of my leadership role, I’m also an amateur face painter, so you’ll often find me chatting with children while creating colourful masterpieces at Service events and celebrations. What I love most about my role is supporting and mentoring Educators while still spending quality time with the children and being part of their learning journey.
My number one priority is ensuring that every child who comes through our doors feels safe, secure, and supported. I am equally committed to creating a positive environment where our Educators feel valued and our families feel welcomed, heard, and confident in the care and education their children receive.
