Hello, my name is Kat, and I am the Centre Manager here at Bluebird Early Education Cobram. I am a Diploma-qualified Educator with over 15 years of experience in the Early Childhood Education sector.

Throughout my career, I have worked across a variety of settings, including Long Day Care, Family Day Care, family support programs, and supported playgroup environments. These diverse experiences have strengthened my commitment to supporting children, families, and Educators in meaningful and respectful ways, while helping to create environments where everyone feels valued and supported.

My leadership philosophy is centred on building strong, respectful, and collaborative partnerships with children, families, and Educators. I believe that positive relationships are at the heart of quality Early Childhood Education and provide the foundation for children to feel safe, secure, confident, and inspired to learn.

Child safety and wellbeing are at the forefront of everything I do, and I am passionate about creating a warm, welcoming Service where every child feels a true sense of belonging. I am equally committed to ensuring children’s voices are heard and respected, and that their interests, ideas, and experiences help shape the learning environments and opportunities we provide each day.

I pride myself on being approachable, supportive, and inclusive, and I am passionate about mentoring Educators to continually grow in their knowledge and practice. By working together as a collaborative team and building genuine partnerships with families, we can provide the very best outcomes for every child.
