At Bluebird Botanic Ridge, we believe in nourishing both the mind and body. That’s why we’re proud to offer cooking classes led by our talented on-site cook. With our fully equipped kitchen and emphasis on healthy eating, children have the opportunity to explore the world of food in a fun and educational setting.
During these interactive sessions, our little cooks roll up their sleeves and dive into the culinary arts, learning about different ingredients, cooking techniques, and the importance of making nutritious choices. From baking tasty meals to crafting delicious snacks, each cooking class is an adventure in taste and discovery.
Our expansive outdoor spaces further enhance the learning experience, with sandpits and water features in each yard inviting children to explore, imagine, and create. Even the Kinder area boasts a large fort, providing endless opportunities for outdoor play and adventure.
We also believe in fostering a sense of community and compassion. That’s why we introduce Teatime, where children come together to share stories and laughter. Additionally, our Kinder of Kindness program instils values of empathy and respect, laying the foundation for a lifetime of kindness and understanding.

Meet the Centre Manager
Hello, my name is Elissa, and I am the proud Centre Manager at Bluebird Education Botanic Ridge.
My journey in Early Childhood Education and Care began in 2017, when I earned my Diploma. I have worked in the Early Childhood Education and Care Sector for over 9 years, including more than 4 years in leadership roles. I bring a sound knowledge of regulatory compliance, leading high-performing teams and delivering a high-quality educational program that closely aligns with the EYLF and National Quality Standards.
I am passionate about creating warm, supportive environments where everyone feels a true sense of belonging. I am dedicated to building strong relationships with children, families, educators and the wider community through open and honest communication, positive team culture and driving continuous improvement.
Outside of work, I come from a big family, and I enjoy spending time with my partner of 10 years and our energetic puppy at our hobby farm in East Gippsland, Victoria.
I look forward to getting to know you all over the coming days and being part of the Bluebird Community.
