About Bluebird Early Education Cameron Park
Care and Education for Children aged 6 weeks until 5 years
Our inclusive environment nurtures and enriches the educational journey of our children and families through play-based learning.
We celebrate and promote diversity, creating a welcoming environment that radiates value and understanding.
Through our programs, we celebrate each child’s unique experiences and backgrounds which are reflected in their learning journey and honoured within our Service.
We encourage and support exploration, discovery, investigation, curiosity, and research as we acknowledge that children are confident and capable learners who are able to extend their own learning and potential.

At Bluebird Cameron Park we view the families as the first educators of children. Their insights and voices are heard and valued, playing a crucial role in the care and education of our children.
We provide regular opportunities for active participation of families with community events, open days, and activities – encouraging you to come into our Service and share any talents, values, cultures, or experiences you may have. We build a dynamic community where everyone has a role in the growth and development of the children and our community.
We embrace the philosophy of the environment as the third teacher which provides our children with spaces that inspire curiosity and foster delight! Our environments are designed with input from the children, giving them control and ownership of their space. This is supported by our educators who ensure it is safe, and inclusive for all and aligns with our philosophy and values.
At Bluebird Cameron Park we highly value the embedding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives throughout our environments to foster respect and understanding among our community.
We believe in the power of community connections, working together to create a supportive partnership with our families and local partners. We are working towards and promoting a more harmonious future with our practices deeply rooted in respect and genuine desire to make a positive lasting impact on our community and the world around us.
We are proud to take our learning beyond the classroom through building connections within our local community. As a Service, we are working towards being active participants within our community and creating opportunities for collaboration. We engage with local organisations and partake in regular excursions within our broader community which we aim to reinforce that learning is ongoing and interconnected.
We cannot wait to welcome you and your family into our Bluebird Cameron Park Community.
Meet the Centre Manager
Hi, my name is Trudy McGovern. I am an experienced early childhood professional with over 16 years in the sector, including more than six years as a Childcare Centre Manager. Throughout my career, I have been guided by a strong commitment to nurturing the growth, development, and wellbeing of every child in my care.
As a Manager, I am passionate about creating environments where children feel safe, secure, and genuinely valued. I believe every child deserves a strong sense of belonging, where their individuality is celebrated and their confidence can flourish. I take pride in fostering inclusive, inspiring spaces where children, families, and Educators can thrive together.
My leadership approach is grounded in care, compassion, and a genuine desire to make a positive and lasting impact. I strive to lead by example, supporting and mentoring my team to deliver high-quality, engaging, and meaningful experiences for all children.
As a mother of six and grandmother of eight, I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding to my role. I appreciate the diverse needs of families and am deeply committed to building strong, respectful relationships that foster trust, collaboration, and a true sense of community within our Service.
Outside of work, I enjoy camping and listening to music, and I cherish spending quality time with my husband, family, and friends. These moments continue to shape my values and inspire my approach to both life and leadership.
I am passionate about connecting with people, building meaningful relationships, and creating strong partnerships that enhance the experiences of children and families. As Centre Manager, I am excited to continue making a difference and to lead our Service where every child feels secure, inspired, and truly at home.
My door is always open. I look forward to welcoming you and your child and supporting you on your Early Education journey together.
